Online Video Tools to Create Free Resume or Video

Posted by Vasim Tamboli
There are tools out there that are going to give you an edge over your competition when hunting for a job. Be you a cash strapped college student or a struggling single mother there is no need to pay a consultancy to create a video resume for you when you can create your own. The great thing is that you can often do it for free, and as a woman there are going to be jobs where gaining that edge is all the more important. Here are three examples of great video resume creators and editors.

You are allowed to pick a theme that goes with your resume video. This allows you to give your resume video a feel and a look that suits the image you are trying to project and the job you are trying to get. It allows you to upload video and images from your local drive and from remote drives, social media and the cloud. Under your videos you may add text and you may pick the soundtrack to go with your video. You may add maps onto the video and you may add smooth transitions. They also have a text-to-speech element too. For example, you can see this video I’ve created for EssayMama essay writing service in 40 minutes. Very simple, really:

This is a piece of animation software that you may use to create your video resume. You will not need your own raw footage to use as you will be able to create your video from scratch. They have a lot of pre-designed elements that you can slot into place. The other good thing is that you may add in photo images which are good if you want to show the world what you look like. If you look at the homepage of the website you will see a quick explanation of how the tool works and what you can use it for. It is ideal for creating a short video resume, and many of the tools on the website are free to use (not all of them though).

YouTube

YouTube has its own publishing area where you upload your videos to put onto the social media network’s directory. In that upload area you will find a few simple video editing tools that may not be the most advanced but that are quite suitable for the simple uses required on YouTube. You may also add in the captions and annotations that you so often see on other YouTube videos. It also comes with a set of analytics too. If you want to put your video resume onto YouTube so you may stream it to your website then you may.
